Why your posts get likes but no sales (and what to fix)
Likes feel good, but they don’t pay salaries. If people engage with your posts and still don’t buy, the gap is usually in one of these places.

Your posts don’t tell people what to do
A beautiful flyer with no clear call to action leaves people admiring and scrolling. Every selling post should say exactly how to buy: “Send ‘MENU’ on WhatsApp”, “Tap the link to book”.
The offer isn’t clear
What is it, how much does it cost and why now? If customers have to ask three questions before they can decide, many won’t bother asking.
Nobody follows up
Many sales are lost after someone sends “How much?”. Replies that arrive hours late, or not at all, turn interested people into lost customers. A simple follow-up routine fixes a lot.
Your page doesn’t build trust
Before buying, people check your page for proof: reviews, real photos, delivery updates and consistency. A page that looks inactive or inconsistent makes people hesitate.
You’re posting for everyone
Content that tries to please everyone sells to no one. Speak to one type of customer and their specific problem, and the right people will feel it was written for them.
What to do next
- Add one clear call to action to every selling post.
- Put prices or “starting from” prices where you can.
- Set a rule: every enquiry gets a reply within an hour during business hours.
- Post real proof every week: reviews, deliveries, before-and-afters.
